Course Title: Basics of LED Lighting

Speaker: Cheri Lindsey with Seagull Lighting

An introduction to LED lighting: Where it has been, where it is going, available fixtures, types and uses.

LED lighting is a rapidly advancing science.  The color rendition, life span and energy efficiency of LED fixtures has improved dramatically.  LED lights have reached color rendering that is equal to compact fluorescents with lower power consumption.  New lamp shades and sizes are available to fit almost any fixture application.  Lamp life is now 20 to 30 years.

 Start Time: 5pm

Course will run prior to general membership meeting on Thursday October 20th. 

Who Should Attend: Contractors, electrical contractors, designers, cabinet makers or people who use lighting. 

COSTS: $15 NARI Members; $25 Non-NARI Members
